The State Bank of India will be conducting SBI Clerk Recruitment Exam in the month of March/ April 2018. The question is: Are you prepared for the upcoming exam?
This might be the biggest question for every beginner as weak strategy or without guidance, you may not be shortlisted. If you are planning to start for your SBI Clerk Prelims preparation now, then one month window is enough provided you utilize the time well.
For the first time, SBI has introduced the sectional timing factor in SBI Clerk Prelims exam pattern. Check out the new exam pattern:
|Sections||No. of Questions||Marks||Duration|
|English Language||30||30||20 Minutes|
|Numerical Ability||35||35||20 Minutes|
|Reasoning Ability||35||35||20 Minutes|
Some highlights of the changes made in the exam pattern are given below:
- Each section of the Prelims exam will now have a separate time slot (20 Minutes each).
- Also, there will not be any sectional or overall cut-off.
- An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (83010 candidates) will be shortlisted for the Mains Exam from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.
Plan your strategies according to your capabilities eg: If one is good in quant, then he/ she has to work on Reasoning/ English & vice-versa. The main focus is to utilize the upcoming days efficiently & plan well keeping this proverb in mind.
Set Goals and Milestones
Enlist the topics you need to focus on in the upcoming days and set goals that are feasible in terms of the numbers like Topics to be made into strengths, Marks to be target section-wise, Marks to target in Overall Examination etc and start preparation accordingly.
Make a Proper Schedule
Aspirants must be able to manage the time for the topics need to be covered. Given the vastness of syllabus, a proper strategic plan will give you an extra edge. Also, you should be extra prepared for the different type of questions asked in the exam.
Proper practice of Mock Tests will help candidates to know where they need to concentrate & how much time they are taking to solve each question.
