Important Joining Documents for IBPS CWE VII PO, SO & Clerk
As we all know, the IBPS PO VII, Clerk VII & Specialist Officer (SO) VII recruitments are completed & allotments for selected candidates to the respective banks were also announced recently.
As aspirants wait for their respective banks to announce the reporting dates, here is the documents required at the time of joining. Scroll down to for complete checklist.
Checklist of Documents at the Time of Joining
At the time of reporting, you have to keep some documents with you that will be verified by the Bank Officials. If you fail to bring any of the required document, your allotment will be canceled by the bank.
Therefore, here we are providing you list of all the important documents that should be carried by the candidates in original and also in photocopy, at the time of reporting. Check out the list of important documents.
You must keep at least one ID proof with you at the time of reporting. This may include Aadhar card/Driving License/Voter’s ID/Passport etc.
Note: Those who do not have Aadhar card are required to apply for it immediately as banks need it to open savings account/ salary account nowadays.
Date of Birth Proof
DOB Proof is also the most important document which is verified by officials. Usually, they verify it by referring to mark sheets but you should also carry the DOB certificate with you, as it may be possible that they will check it.
Copy of PAN Card or a copy of challan receipt/online generated receipt issued by the concerned authority of having applied for issuance of PAN Card
At the time of joining any Bank be it through IBPS or Any other,you need 2 Character certificates from 2 non relative person either from a Gazetted Officer or from an Officer in a Nationalised bank not below the rank of Asstt. General Manager.
The documents must include mark sheets of 10th and 12th Class, mark sheets and degrees of UG & PG or any other educational details if you have. The date of passing the degree exam mentioned on degree mark sheet or provisional certificate will be considered to check your eligibility condition.
As per the above rule, your results should have been declared/ date of issue mentioned on your degree certification should be on or before:
Probationary Officers: September 05, 2017
Specialist Officers: November 27, 2017
Clerks: October 03, 2017
For PO & SO, this would have been verified during the common interview stage itself.But for clerks, this will be the first time.
Certificates of Computer Literacy
If you have applied for the clerical position, Candidate should have studied computer science or IT as a subject in high school/ college. You can also provide the degree of any course in computer operations/language from an institute.
2 Passport Size Photographs
The photographs should be similar to that pasted on the application form submitted by you.
Category/ Caste certificates
OBC/ SC/ ST candidates must submit their caste certificate issued by appropriate authority (as per central govt format).
- Those belonging to OBC category (non creamy layer) – certificate must specifically contain a clause that the candidate does not belong to creamy layer section.
- It should have been issued within one year from the date of exam notification (refer date of ibps advertisement)
PWD candidates: Disability certificate in proper format issued by district medical board should be submitted.
Ex-Servicemen: Discharge letter along with pension payment order & proof of last held rank to be produced.
If you are one of those candidates those of you who have experience, then you should also bring the relieving letter with other documents.
NOTE: Banks have all authority to not allow candidates from joining if they do not provide the required proofs. So Avoid silly mistakes and fill your form carefully because not everyone is lucky to get a job in banking sector.
