Bank of Baroda Manipal PO Selection Procedure
Similar to most Bank PO Examinations, there will be a 3 staged process for shortlisting and selecting candidates for Baroda Manipal School of Banking (BMSB). The 3 stages for Bank of Baroda BOB Manipal PO are as follows.
- Online Aptitude Test
- Group Discussion (GD)
The selection process begins with online aptitude test, which is both objective and descriptive. The exam pattern for the written examination is mentioned below.
Bank of Baroda Manipal PO Exam Pattern (Objective)
The candidates need to appear at various examination centres in order to attempt the online aptitude test.

The total time to solve the aptitude test is 2 Hours 30 Minutes. The Descriptive Paper will be held just after completion of objective test. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
Bank of Baroda Manipal PO Exam Pattern (Descriptive)
The Descriptive Paper for BOB PO Recruitment will be held after the objective paper. There will be 2 questions and the total marks will be 50. You will be provided 30 minutes to complete the descriptive paper.
Hence, the written examination will comprise of 250 marks and a total time of 3 Hours to solve. There will be negative marking and sectional cutoff. Selected candidates will move to the next rounds, GD and Interview.
Group Discussion (GD)/Personal Interview (PI)/Psychometric Test:
- The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in the Online Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit, subject to 4 times the number of intake in each category, will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Online examination, Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
- The Final merit list for selection shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the
candidates in Online test (objective + descriptive), Group Discussion and Interview.
- In case more than one candidate scores the cut off marks (common mark at cut off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order.
- A candidate should qualify in all the processes of selection, i.e. Online Examination, GD and Personal Interview and sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for selection subject to the vacancies available under the respective category.
